Crust

Poor

Too hard, tough, too flakey, the shape of the dough is not round, over cooked, too thin or too thick or falls apart.
Fair

Crust is in an oval shape and too thin in the middle and flaky to the touch because too much flour was used.
Exceptable

The shape and texture of the crust is thin, in a circular shape, but no color to the edges.
Good

The round shape of the dough is not there but the edge of the crust is flat and even at the bottom.
Excellent

The dough has been worked just right for the perfect thickness, the shape is perfectly round, the sides are risen to a nice edge with no extra flour on them and is golden brown.
Sauce

Poor

Looks lumpy because there is not enough sauce spread evenly across the crust, is the wrong color, or is too salty or not spiced enough.
Fair

Enough sauce, but too much on one side or the other.
Exceptable

The sauce is not evenly spreaded but has a thin texture, but is spread too far onto the crust.
Good

Texture is smooth enough to spread evenly on the crust and the color is an exceptable tomato color.
Excellent

Spread across the top of the pizza no sauce on the crust, perfectly colored and seasoned, with no sauce on the edge of the crust.
Cheese

Poor

Wrong kind of cheese used, not spread evenly on crust, too much cheese on crust, not enough cheese on crust.

Too much shredded cheese on top of the sauce and not evenly spreaded.
Exceptable

The correct type of cheese is spread on top of sauce but on the edge of the crust.
Good

Correct cheese, spread almost evenly but has a hole or two with sauce showing through it.
Excellent

Correct cheese and texture is evenly spread on top to cover only the immediate circle of the pizza and none on the crust.
Toppings

Poor

Wrong toppings put on the pizza.
Fair

Too much or not enough toppings on the pizza and placed unevenly.
Exceptable

The correct toppings but not evenly spaced on the pizza, and encroaching on the crusts edge of the pizza.
Good

Correct toppings on the pizza spread evenly, but still on the crust of the pizza.
Excellent

Correct toppings spread evenly and nothing on the edge of the pizza crust.
Ending Product

Poor

Crust is burnt, cheese is burnt and the pizza is not round and there is no taste of salt to the crust, sauce, or cheese or too much salt in the ingredients.
Fair

Crust is not cooked long enough along with the ingredients too much salt and the sauce is too sweet.
Exceptable

The pizza taste is torable to the consumer.
Good

The pizza passes the taste test of the person ordering the pizza.
Excellent

The crust is thin and evenly prepared all around. The crust is baked on the correct time and evenly browned as well as the cheese. The pizza's look is a beautiful light colored and smooth crust as well as the cheese. The taste of the dough is perfect, as well as the sauce and cheese.
