	Unsatisfactory 5 pts	Fair 7 pts	Good 8 pts	Very Good 9 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Quality of Response	Unsatisfactory Responses address at least one item in the questions. Response is short and is insufficient as a summary. No analysis beyond basic comments/remarks (e.g., ‘readings were interesting’, ‘I agree with the author’).	Fair Responses address at least 2-3 items in the questions. No direct reference to the readings. Post is more summary in nature.	Good Responses address 2-3 items in the questions relatively well. There is evidence of some engagement with the readings. Some reference to the reading is evident.	Very Good Responses address each item in the questions satisfactorily. Thoughtful engagement with the readings and direct reference to the reading.	Excellent Responses fully address each item in the questions. There is ample evidence of critical reflection, analysis, and thoughtful engagement with the readings. References are made to the readings.
